OPINION Broncos Backrower Bench hole

After tonight's show, I'd be happy to expect Jack Gosiewski to be back up backrower

He would definitely be a slight upgrade on Hunt. He has played more NRL games than Hunt, and is a specialist backrower. We lack depth in the backrower, so it would be nice to bolster that. If we can find another cheap experienced backrower as well then that would be even better

He is off contract for next year, was dropped in the last game too, something could have been offered to make it happen imo, Gosiewski is a throw away item in a year, Klese has potential to put pressure on our current backrowers without being expensive.

Offer them a Mozer loan to the end of the year with us paying would be good for all parties imo, because he probably makes the starting team there right now(and we do have hooker depth as Paix is still on a Top 30 people might complain on having him as the best option left but it will help Mozers growth big time being a regular first grader over what he is now, think of it like what Storm did with Grant).

Even Hunt should have waltzed over last week but fumbled . Riki is a big dissapointment from what I thought he was gonna be when he debuted .
He plays his role , but I cant help thinking he`s holding back and has much more to offer .

Riki has been very solid defensively, but he has no attack from what he looked to have had coming in to be fair, overall I think this works for us though as it will keep him cheap and an easy long term option to keep balance in the cap.

What does he do in attack ? Is he breaking tackles ? Is he offloading ? Is he backing up for tries ? PCM ?
None of the above . In his debut I think it was he ran around a full back and sprinted away . Now he runs like he has burrs in his shoes .

Sure he’s a Redcliffe junior so was always going to be at Redcliffe.

Broncos offered Plath a train and trial when he was at Wynnum, he took it and did 12 weeks 22/23 and then Redcliffe offered him a top 30 deal and he rightfully took that.

I think we should consider raiding a Souths player.
Their season has/is turned to shit and there has to be a chance some of their players would be interested in getting out.
Their coach is likely to be sacked sooner rather than later.
They are officially now running last and are no chance of playing finals footy.
I think we should look at someone like Arrow, Chee Kam, Kolamatangi, or even Murray (yes he would be expensive and unlikely to leave but you never know).
I don't know how long any of them are contracted for but I think it might be worth at least doing some due diligence on them.

To be fair though they have Randall and Verrils

Not on current form. Verrils won a GF and scored a meat pie. Mozer has potential for sure but shit tge bed at rep level and isn't dominating Q cup.

Loans have to be at their current contract, You have to have the space to take on whatever their current club is paying them.
