Broncos extortion attempt

Can't wait to read Roy Masters article on how the Broncos have been funding cartels in Columbia.

With a Rothfield follow up about how Milford is secretly El Chapo's cousin 20 times removed, and that Parker is retiring to be Trump's press secretary.

Just remember no speculation on the identity please. If the mainstream papers can't name them then neither can we.

I'm assuming because it's a Broncos player it's automatically a media beat up and nothing to it.

As Broncos fans, we're hopeful it's bogus on the part of the person who's trying to make the money.

The grainy footage, the fact that the player can't easily be identified, the fact they want less money for something far more damaging than Norman's box set. All suggests it might just be a bunch of dicks, one of whom looks vaguely like a Broncos player, are looking to make some cash.

We've made it pretty clear that if true, we want them gone. For different reasons probably. Some would draw the line at simply using illegal drugs. Others wouldn't care about the drug use itself, but at a time when the team is struggling and everyone should be focussing on their game, it's not a very team-first attitude to be partying hard.

I can't believe the media asked Bennett about it in the press conference.

Did they really think he was going to give them the answer they wanted?

The fact that's grainy and you can't easily identify the player could be the reason why they only want 70k.

If it was clear footage and you could clearly see him, they could possibly ask for more.

Or maybe they only want 70k regardless.

Could be a whole number of reasons why they are only asking for that much.

But from what I'm hearing, this isn't going anyway any time soon.

i have seen a still frame photo, it is a bit rough but you can get a fair idea. for fear of reprisal and defamation i wont specualte or name any players.
if the media and nrl do there proper due dilligence (no cover up) they will name them in due course

Just sent you a PM & it seems so have everyone else, as you have exceeded your stored private messages quota & can't accept further messages until you clear some space.

Sounding worse by the minute, you think this will be the end of a Broncos career for someone? Or ' not much in it ' should low over?

My PM had nothing to do with this. I remembered to send you a PM when I saw your name in this thread.

I don't believe it should be the end of someones career. Especially if they are first time offender. There would need to be a heavy penalty but i dont believe sacking someone is the answer.

This. Depends on the history. This could have already been dealt with for all we know.
