Teams only have 1 bye now I believe. This is absolutely ridiculous I think. The nrl had the chance to decrease the impact of origin by maintaining the 2 byes for each team + the stand alone origin. Instead they have maintained the skewing of the season standings via the impact of origin by taking a bye from each team to ensure that each team is still impacted (a little bit less) by state of origin. Ridiculous decision that once again stinks of sydney influence.
