MELTDOWN Broncos must sack Bennett

In any event, I have determined to just ride out the season and see what eventuates. Who knows with this side, and I will hopefully ride the ebbs and flows. A sudden surge in form and a ride deep into the finals like 2015 would not shock me, equally barely scraping into the eight and being eliminated by 30-40 points in the first week of the finals would also not surprise me.

Two of my favourite's that Bennett tells is about Bax. Who walked in one day with Norths behind and just says if we don't win this game I'll never talk to you useless pricks again and walked out.

And another, walked in with Norths behind and told the reserves to shower- these guys got us in this mess they can get us out of it and walked out.

Bax was the best coach ever and taught Bennett- nine premiership and 14 Grand Finals at Norths in the 60's and 70's. He came back in '77 because he bet his wife if Norths come last I will come out of retirement and help them- they did and he took them to third in '77.

What he said. Bennett is the Broncos. It’s like saying I support the broncos but I can’t stand the club and players and coaching staff and Lang park. It should all be sacked. And let’s bring in the melbourne storm players and coach. If you’re not a broncos fan that’s fine but this is a broncos fan forum I thought.
I once saw a Stephen king movie, think it was called the mist or something. At the end he decided it was hopeless so shot his whole family then just before he shot himself, was saved by the military. Killed his family for nothing. Pie on the face, jizz in the pants.

Just on the movie, you are right it is 'The Mist' and that ending still affects me, probably the saddest thing I have ever seen. I watched it when we were in hospital after the birth of my first son. Talk about tucking on the emotional heartstrings...

I knew nothing about the movie before I watched it so was just expecting a run of the mill type of ending.....good guys kill bad guys etc. Boy was I wrong.....left me with a genuinely empty feeling.

Clearly he has lost the dressing room and a review must be made at the end of the season but I'd rather one of the fans was in charge. Maybe then some of the young guys would get a go.

Well I can’t speak for SF but I’d imagine he is more referring to being mindful of what actually happened when this thread was established in the first place.

The OP has been made to look a little silly since, could well happen the other way as well, even if it is looking extremely unlikely right now.
