Broncos 30-20.


George Fai was very good, took it to Gallen at one stage. Pearson showed how quick he was several times. Broncos were very poor last quarter. Scoreless last quarter for the Broncos and Minto took them apart at times. Saitau, Pickersgill and Skleton played well.

Does anyone have any news on what's happened to Jordan Drew? @1910 @talanoa
Haven't seen him in any squads. Don't know if he is injured/out of favor or unsigned
I thought although raw he was one of the most talented players coming through.

2013 was a break out year, however he had a few injury setbacks in 2014. I wrote a few weeks or even longer ago about drew's situation. It is a strange one, he has the skills and is really quick too so i'm not sure why he is out of favor with Wayne. I rate him the best outside back of all the 20's. Strange thing is he is top 25 for nrl, but he is only required 1 day a week to train with the first grade squad. I hope he kicks on, however reading between the lines I would think he may end up somewhere else. Only time will tell I guess.

i have been keeping a close eye on the 20's team sheet and noticed that syd smith's name hasn't shown up anywhere. I decided to make the treck out to waterford of all places 2 weeks back for a souths logan and redcliffe trial in Mal meninga cup. Syd played in the front row and to be honest looked really out of nick and uninterested in the game all together. He is still only young but the club must be concerned, he is very very well paid for a kid of his age. It is only early on, but it does look worrying at this stage with Syd.

Played footy both with and against Hope. Great leader on the field, never shuts his mouth and is constantly revving up his forward pack. Not necessarily very gifted, but he is hard worker and great defender.
