Perhaps it was due to his impending retirement, but it seemed Cozza's age definitely caught up with him in the last month of the season. Best for him to go out as one of the top 3 or 4 locks rather than slide dramatically next year and be a shadow. Also we need to promote the kids sooner than later and it seems team harmony may improve without Captain Arsehole being around.

He will have been signed for depth and experience which is fine with me, I don't think he will hinder their development.

As for Napa see how this all plays out given this latest development, the Roosters may still hold onto him regardless so while it would be good to get him a release from the Roosters for 2017, we shouldn't just expect it either.

Dodds will take Wallace's spot on the bench I reckon which isn't such a bad thing in terms of experience off then bench

I think it's pretty clear now that we aren't going to sign a starting middle forward to replace Parker.
Either we are going to go with a young guy (most likely Arrow but possibly Ese'ese or Joe) or Glenn will move back into the starting side at lock or second row and someone shuffles to lock.
Strap yourselves in my friends for a very long off season waiting to see what happens.
