Broncos Player Movements and Rumours 2014

I doubt it, I live in Rocky and watch the Capras, Sebastian Martins struggles to make the team, he is too big and slow.

He left Australia at the start of this year.

Broncos go to chuch
Talented centre Aaron Whitchurch has won a third chance at the NRL - courtesy of master coach Wayne Bennett. A classy player who featured in three top grade games of the Broncos in 2012, Whitchurch looked to have the league world at his feet. But a back injury hit him at the end of the season and a comeback attempt at the Knights under Bennett fell over last year due to contractual problems. But Bennett felt he owed Whitchurch something after that disappointment at the Knights and he has been thrown a lifeline - a second tier contract. The speedy centre is back in training with the Broncos and at just 23, has plenty of good football ahead of him.

Awesome. I had big wraps on him but after the injury and some pretty shocking first grade games I thought he was pretty much done. Not entirely expecting to even make the 17 next year but would be stoked if he does.

I think this is a great move for him and the club

Sweet.

Aaron is an awesome dude, deserves another shot, his first grade appearances back in 2012 were pretty ordinary, but he has heaps of potential and will be good depth in the centres.

And for those wondering Aaron won the Redcliffe Dolphins player of the year award as well as the ISC player's player this year.. He's back in some good form.

A hand in glove move.

From all reports, was one of the few shining lights in a year to forget for the Dolphins. Only caught the odd glimpses but some of his performances reminded me of his 2012 efforts where he showed plenty of promise.

Did I see him play some games in the back row? Doesn't matter really, we have a tonne of players now competing for all spots except prop, the competition can only be good. I've seen a few games of his at left centre, and he definitely looked a level above the other ISC players, except for that horrible GF performance where he made about 4 errors in the second half.

Good depth signing again by the club. I believe Whitchurch played for the QLD residents this year as well.

Whitchurch, Parcell and Griffin (if he does get some sort of deal) will be great additions and all three deserve it after standout years. Griffin I think in particular, he was playing big minutes up front for the jets and all quality

His first one was really impressive actually.

He came 3rd in BHQ votes for that match IIRC,

He is a strong runner but his hands let him down a bit in the U20s. I did not see him play too often last year so he may have fixed that problem

True, all I remember was his really bad one where he made a bunch of errors.

I seem to remember him playing most of his U20's games in the backrow, and can't recall him being that fast either. Good get for the second tier cap for sure though, and if he returns to his best form, he could threaten the establish order!

He also played quite a bit at centre or wing. When he played second row it was off the bench

A bit similar to Beau Scott in a few of those clips

Hits hard and has great tackling technique, looks hard to stop too...welcome back Aaron!
