Broncos Player Movements and Rumours 2014

He's a cheapshot throwing, elbow-raising, angry-pill-chomping prick of the highest calibre, and I absolutely loathe him as a player. And he's from the Rorters who are chasing Manly hard for the most hated team award.
Bht I'd have him in the Broncos lineup in a heartbeat. He's Josh McGuire's aggression in Martin Kennedy's body.

Agree totally. Hate him with a passion, but he'd be great for us.

PS.... he was recruited from Manly.

And is a Brisbane boy with family and business interests here.....

I cannot like this post enough!!

I know a few people aren't keen on him, but I must say, he's pretty much exactly what we need, give or take.

Experienced, aggressive, runs hard, hits hard.

He's still nowhere near as good as their other front rowers/locks. I'm sick of us just signing their excess forwards.

I mean yeah, he's not as good as Moa / JWH / Napa.. but he's better than anything else on the free market right now, we could do worse than signing him to a 2 year deal and seeing what he can offer, if it doesn't work out, we'll just pawn him off on the Roosters next season and pay half his contract

Take him on a one year deal and make the Roosters give us some of our Kennedy money back.

On the Srama subject, I honestly see him as a better player than McCullough and would be stoked if he was fit and playing as our number 9. In saying that though, I'm not sure how his body is these days.

He's the sort of guy who the opposition avoid when they are running the ball.

Love his raw aggression.

It's what we need!

Didn't realise that he's an Iona boy.

Brent no like. Bad medicine.

Seriously want JWH.

We have Hodgo and Parker who are good for one penalty each per game. Add JWH in and we'll never see the ball. ;)

Obviously I am exaggerating Parker and Hodgo's contribution but they did seem to give away more than they should.
So I just did a search too see where our guys + JWH sit:

equal 4th. Shaun Fensom (Raiders) & Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (Roosters) 15 penalties

whereas the firebrand JW-H is mostly in trouble for high shots, having conceded five penalties in this area with another for a dangerous throw to go with them.

And surprise to me:

equal 6th. Alex Glenn (Broncos), Adam Blair (Wests Tigers), Chris Houston (Knights) 14 penalties

Glenn, the Broncos’ and Kiwi utility, is mostly hammered by the whistle-blowers in the ruck where he has conceded three hand-on-ball penalties and another three for holding down
