The Broncos are still facing a hefty fine for reporting $450,000 in salary-cap irregularities but are unlikely to be docked competition points — effectively keeping their season alive.

Can I just quietly say, we're pretty much the biggest dog in the yard in the NRL in terms of public awareness. Walk into Perth and ask a random passerby to name an NRL side and we'd be the first mentioned.

They were never going to let us take the fall.

Seems so shady still... but if the NRL wants to move on who am I to complain.
I guess our fine will be the cost of the investigation... but this will discourage clubs coming forward in the future so I am not sure what the NRL are trying to say by doing that.

More information might come to light with the Leagues club investigation still on going and Gee might have some larger issues if the AFP or ATO get involved. He might start talking then...
