Get in Hunt's ear and tell him if he plays Hooker, we'll **** Haas off tomorrow and give him 900k a year for 2 years with a 3rd in the clubs favor. He gets more money than any Sydney club will give him and he gets to bring his family home. If he plays well he can retire as our number 9 and mentor Mozer.

If he doesn't have a serious hunger to pick that premiership he dropped back up off the turf, I will streak through South Bank on New Years Eve.

Id bet 100k on my sauce. I post up here what dragons offering and got laughed at, then Wiedler goes to press last night with the same info 😆

Don't listen to the heroes on here that think they know better.

I'm often left astounded by people spewing anger at posters being nice enough to give us some info.

I for one, appreciate your efforts, good sir.

Right before finals too? Can’t read it but is the title true?
Bennett:

“I haven’t had talks with Latrell, but if he is on the open market in November, then yes I’m interested. He has been negotiating with South Sydney and they might do a deal before he becomes a free agent. Right now, he isn’t on the market. If Latrell does go to the open market, there will be 16 other clubs chasing him and we will be one of them.”
“Everybody knows we are chasing Cameron Munster and he is our priority. That hasn’t been finalised. Under the salary cap, we can’t afford Munster and another guy of similar value like Latrell. We can only have one marquee player. Munster is our priority signing, but if Latrell is available in November, I will be keen to talk to him.”

Mitchell:

“I am second choice Wayne, am I? I can’t be second choice. I leave my contract up to my managers and Blake Solly to talk about.”
“I have been here in Sydney for almost 10 years, since I was 15. It is a hard one. I want to keep playing footy and enjoying what I am doing. That is what makes this club enjoyable, being around such a constructive group.“We have a laugh here and there when we need to and we switch on when we need to. I love being around the people who are here. It is genuine. That is all I can say.”

Or Latrell

Munster must be toying with the old fuddy duddy. ”hasn’t been finalised” implies he nearly has Munster signed, sealed and delivered.

he’s gettin on, ol’ Wayne.

I love Wayne's dig here. Can't have Munster and another marquee signing, that would be over the cap (looks at the Storm spine...).

looks like Jake has a new home

If a big story is coming then I am definitely wanting a straight swap Haas for Munster for the foreseeable future.

This might sound completely crazy but what about a spine of this
1.Cobbo- He's a machine of a player, I want to see his hands more on the ball and he deserves 1st shot.
6.Munster
7.Reynolds
9.Walsh
14.Mam back up hooker and impact player.
By playing this spine we get all our xfactor players in our side, also gets Walters, Turpin away from our 17. Mam and Walsh are both professional athletes that I believe can change there games to help our Broncos to another premiership in 2023.

Not convinced Walsh is up to the rigours of defending in the middle. Mam is more of a chance though.

He has been a part of results this year. He hasn't been influential in them at all.
It's an opinion, but not fact. I think his energy and passion is infectious and lifts the players around him, and as such he may have positively influenced results. But that's just an opinion too, bottom line, neither of us know for sure.
The only thing that's clear is the club isn't making playing or re-signing him a priority, and I'm going to have to find peace with him leaving. Some us like me think that sucks. Some of us like you don't. Oh well that's footy eh?

If he doesn’t want to play hooker, he’s surplus to needs. There’s also the question of captaincy, the same as Munster. Wayne could offer him that, inline with his status at the Dragons, and to be their marquee man. We can’t. It’s a demotion for him.
I find it hard to view moving from the Dragons to the Broncos as a demotion no matter the position or captaincy, or any other factor

With respect to Hunt, I think his future is linked to Hook. He seems to have a very strong relationship with Hook, so if Hook gets sacked it will be significantly easier to pry Hunt away. If Hook stays on, I don't see Hunt leaving.

Walsh at 9 are you high?

I fully understand Cobbo being a fullback but I feel he will be better suited with a few seasons at pro level to build his body to that role, he has the same body type as Inglis and Latrell (Bulky torso with long limbs but has speed), his future is centre or Fullback but his body is below his ability at the moment(if you have looked into the time it takes to build a body from a body builder perspective there is a reason players don't start as monsters on the first season of fulltime footy it takes years and with footy players doing soo much cardio you can add that to 3-5 years).

Walsh is either a 1 or a 6 and he will never play 6 with Mam here who is one of the best young halves in the competition who will get better but at the same time he is in no way the playing type of game to be able to go to 7 at least for several years.

Niu makes far more sense at 9 then Walsh if you want to go weird ideals because he is the perfect body build for it(short nuggety build with high acceleration), Walsh is a Running spine player with some play making ability that can not play any other position except for 1 and 6 because he is too small for a modern outside back and far from the hardened defensive mentality required for hooker(like Niu which is his problem being a 9 in the first place).
