I'd be interested to see what the full-time contract means, whether that's the NRL squad or development squad.
I don't want to blow smoke and give you guys the impression that he'll transform the team and should be in the starting team. However I believe he deserved an opportunity and I've been impressed at how he's continued to build his game outside of the NRL system.
If he can continue to improve he'll be worth his weight and he's just coming into that age where dummy halves tend to flourish.
I always think about players like Matt Ballin who took years to develop, but once he hit 24 he was one of the best dummy halves in the competition.
Keep in mind, the last time I was on the same page with the club as far as QRL prospects went it was Myles Taueli and I wouldn't blame anyone for forgetting he was even in the NRL squad 4 years ago.
