Good news the Roosters won't be making a big play for Mozer because they've just signed Reece Robson.
I do think the Mozer contract is just getting the finishing touches because there hasn't been much talk of clubs chasing him.

He's been getting featured heavily in the broncos media... would hope that means they're working on it

Isn't a major reason for the 3 year contract offer from the cowboys because they have a young guy they think will be their 9 for years to come?

Wouldn't make sense at all to go for mozer.

Madden is still young and is from Sydney... he should have suitors.

Rogers is on a bottom dollar deal so provides absolutely nothing cap wise except getting the roster spot back for a different position, but whoever signed a Qcup player to a two year deal should be shot into the sun

This is exactly right - they have to offload people clubs actually want. Hence not being able to offload Paix and co over the last couple of seasons.

And you also forgot. Nobody else wants Billy either.

Just a few days ago I said that if Billy was training at 6, it’s because Madden is one of the few players we could actually offload. Meaning Billy will be needed as 5/8th depth.

Wouldn't surprise me if Madden already has a club lined up and has had permission to look elsewhere for weeks.
But yeah if Billy's training at 6 Madden wasn't in the future plans.
