Cobbo is better than mulitalo ever has been with a way higher ceiling

Cobbo's ceiling is insane but at the same time no club can afford him to be off entirely for a few months, that said I don't know the situation in why that happened it could be something very specific to that year personally, because honestly last year he was in top form all year(though I would argue he was in career best form this year up to Origin 1 in which was probably his breakout game of his career as he broke the leftside NSW defence apart).

I'm not one to write off a player like that just for one year but I would also like to know the reasons and It's unlikely we will know so it's hard to judge.

it is a shame though because Cobbo is a very likeable character in the squad I would hope it's just a one off down year and he kicks on.

I think he is one of best players that has excellent chemistry with Walsh in our team.

I think Cobbo just needs some proper leadership and the right mentoring. Especially why I agreed with McGuire as the coach, some tough love as a the coach is needed. If Cobbo commits and shows he's prepared to put in the hard yards, then definitely a massive ceiling. It all comes down to his commitment now and looking at him being our long term left centre.

If you're the rorters then no... old mate that was charged with grievous bodily harm during a traffic incident happened in March and wasn't reported until he's popped up in court.

Mam has definitely caught me off guard a bit. He seemed like such a humble down to earth kid and then suddenly he’s breaking phones, crashing cars, dressing like Vince McMahon

Yeah, seems to be becoming a bit of a recurring theme with young Mam lately. While they may be 'nothing' incidents in the grand scheme of things, it would indicate his headspace is not where it needs to be for a professional athlete. With the big dollars he earns comes extra responsibility, they are not mutually exclusive.

Lots of talk about Cobbo fading in and out of games and needing to get his head right and his priorities straight. The same can be said of Ezra. Even more so really due to his postion in the team as a 5/8. I daresay this bloke will be hearing some very uncomfortable truths from Madge once pre-season training kicks in.
