Unsure, his last month of Meninga was his best ever, but he's had a lot of injuries and only played 19 Meninga games in three years and four Colts games.

He works hard, he runs hard but not sure his body shape is a winger in 2025 and beyond.

But I like his persistence and work ethic.

I'm a blow in so I'm not trying to claim to be a broncos fan 😂😂 i come in peace!

I was with someone during the week who is convinced that the broncos are about to release an outside back who will sign for the tigers pre June 30. His brother is a player manager. The speculation was it is Staggs or Cobbo, but didn't know which one.

From a broncos perspective do you think there is any truth to it? I thought Staggs resigned, but couldn't actually see confirmation.. just speculation that he was going to.

As good as Cobbo is I dont think he replaces Turuva or Bula... And the tigers have big hopes for Skeldon..

Staggs makes sense for the tigers as they desperately need an attacking centre to replace Douhei (hes a good squad player but isn't the centre you need to play semis).

Thoughts?

Recent reports that Junior Tupou is being released from the Dolphins... he was a former tiger and they had high hopes for him.

It could be him returning to Sydney / Tigers.

Yes cause the Broncos are going to release Kotoni or Cobbo mid season. Get off the gear mate and suggest the same to that mate of yours.

Odds are it is Bailey Trew. The bloke who got released 2 days ago. Otherwise its just an exaggeration. Could be a karapani or someone like that as well but he is 18th man tonight so you'd think probably not if those sorts of negotiations are going on. Also someone would have to be coming into the broncos for that.

He never left because he always had a contract until the end of this year. It made no sense to leave because he wasn’t playing NRL to be able to get another Top 30 deal worth the same value elsewhere

I've heard this from so many people over the years so just know that money talks and bullshit walks. His agent wouldn't be speaking like this in the media if he wasn't open to continuing at another club.
 
Have we officially signed grant anderson ffs? Is it just me, I haven't watched much of him, or is he a Farnsworth-light? Not at that level and not as physical or dominate but same energy and quick ptbs with awkward runs out of his end.

I'd probably say he's like a Connor Tracey light... or a Nick Meaney light... that kind of player.

Wouldn't have stood out in the juniors because he's undersized and doesn't have the athleticism, but is a no frills winger.

He's playing in the centres, where he is fine in attack, but I'm unsure if he could stand up to the physicality of the bigger guys in defence.

Wing will be fine for him, as long as he is solid in contested catches.

Can probably play fullback, but don't expect him to break the game open with x factor or ballplaying, but likely very solid with workrate, defusing kicks, organising the defence and at least smart enough on positioning for 1v1 tackles, etc.
