Anyone watch much of Alick Wiencke? Big tall backrower, from Brisbane, departing Titans, doesn't seem to have a contract for 2026. Qcup stats look solid

Interesting.

Hasn't been given much of a go, but could be interesting on a cheap deal... it would be about the coaches looking at him and whether they like his traits.

We definitely need depth, but he's been around for awhile and hasn't been able to crack titans squad... maybe if he just wants a chance T&T could be an option to get him in for a preseason.

Would take him 100% but we won't have the money. I'm guessing we're gonna have to find the Ben Talty of second rowers

I think he won second rower of the year in QCup a couple years ago.

Love him on the edge so absolutely would but yeah he'd knock himself out or be sent to the bin in about 14 seconds playing for us.

If Robbo can't keep him off the lines I don't think anyone can, so that's a concern too.

I take it all back. I skimmed through the first half of the Warriors game where he played the full game. He's top heavy, flat footed, slow, can't slide, not particularly strong despite his size and just too big for backrow. It's like if the build of Andrew Fifita had the personality of Snorlax

The problem is he's one bad head knock away from medical retirement. I would have taken him if there wasn't that concern with him.

That policy never existed.

Some of the biggest names at this club have been absolute wankers. If you work hard and put in 100% while wearing this jersey, what type of person you are doesn't matter one bit.

Some of the current players aren't exactly angels, I think some people would be surprised at how some of them behave when out and about.

Nah, mate. Being based in SHITney, he needed BSmith to hook him up with someone from Sunny coast to sniff away. If we bring him here, he will get a free pass to go roam around Sunny coast and we would be slaughtered by the media.
We don’t need any more shitheads. We struggled a lot to get rid off them.
