Geez, suddenly appear a bit short on outside backs potentially.

Mind you, doesnt take world class salary to get them either - hopefully we will be fine.
 
We suddenly seem short in just about every position and not much in the short term pipeline either. I think our premiership year papered over this issue somewhat.

Next year looks like we’ll have even less depth and no Haas to do the work of three men

The fact that we're still having to rely on Gos and they keep re-signing Jhunt even though neither Kevvie or Madge want to use him means we have a lot of top 30 spots being used up by guys that the coaches don't trust as first graders.

Hoeter would be another... and up until tigers & dogs Rogers was also in that group.

Tawha now added by the looks.

That's potentially 5 top 30 spots that the coach doesn't really want to use.

I'd probably be playing Rogers more though... we need to reduce Patty's minutes and Rogers was doing a serviceable job, but Bhunt is basically meant to be doing that job, except he keeps getting shifted into the halves if there is any hint of an injury.

I don't get it either, Madge's big thing when he started was guys earning their place and not being picked on reputation.

3. Staggs
4. Mariner
5. Verhoeven/Poates
6. Mam
7. Pezet
8. Willison
9. Paix
10. Barnett
11. Piakura
12. Jiki
13. Carrigan (c)

14. Mozer/Bukowski
15. Semu
16. Talty
17. Francis
18. Jensen
19. Poates/Verhoeven

Nothing behind this either. Talty has regressed. Piki is in the squad as well and unfortunately so is Tawful. We are seeing our depth is non-existent now, it looks bleak sans Haas next year.

Agree re Talty, he had an alright year last year off the back of everything going well for the team, this year he is playing exactly like what he is, a fringe first grade player. Its going to be really interesting to see if Jensen can even get back to footy, but man that line up looks middle of the table at best!

Still a decent line up.

I'd still expect us to make further signings, although we won't hear about them until finalised as the leaks everyone loves have pretty much dried up

It is but there is absolutely nothing behind it.

And for the hundredth time, no one cares about leaks, they are wrong most of the time anyway. We want to see actual signings.

Had another disrupted season this year, started Meninga late and only played three games. Wasn't part of the Grand Final win.

He played lock and bench this year, was bench at Redcliffe and just came on and did whatever he wanted.
