OFFICIAL Broncos Sourced Player Movement and Confirmed Signings - Locked

DT article just now saying we could lose promising backrower Brendan Piakura to either the Bulldogs, Roosters or Storm (bulldogs leading the race for his signature apparently amongst the 8 clubs chasing him). He is said to have a ton of potential and we risk losing him due to our over-supply of backrowers. Apparently he is meeting Bellamy on the coast next week.

Would be a shame to see him leave. Hopefully Kev can convince him to stay and reassure him he is in our plans.

Let's get this back on track.

This thread is for posting of signings/rumoured signings only. There is another thread where people can discuss players Broncos should sign etc.

Guys this is not the thread for that discussion. This thread is for player signings and rumoured signings only.

Any other discussion goes in the Broncos Roster Discussion 2021 thread.

Storm have released an official statement saying that they've given him permission to explore his options, and will grant him an early release if he can find a new home.

100% have to sign him.

We should absolutely be on the phone to his agent every day until the start of next season, but we all know we won't be.

A Fox Sports article talking about the 6 clubs that could realistically land Brandon Smith.

when they talked about us, they said that while we won't release any of our young stars to the Storm, we'd need to come up with an adequate offer. they say Corey Oates fits the bill for the level of player the Storm will be after.
