I think this early in the year, with the great start we have had we can afford to give some youngsters a taste of first grade. Give Beale, Hunt a go. Even Hoffman (i think it is @ fullback) looked very dangerous in the Broncos U20 game v Manly.

I agree 100% but i know Bennett wont do it.

I really liked the look of Hoffman at the back and the #6, i cant remember his name, he went really well.

Wow. What a halves combination

The halves combo was to be expected unfortunately.

Andrew McCullough is the U20s dummy half right?

well great to see a team full of attacking options.. Our back line is still full of good young players if they all click we are in with a chance. If Perry kicks well and Ennis has a blinder we are a good show. What a terrible hlaves pairing lol DEBARCLE Benny.

Plays a mixture of 5/8, and hooker

Damn broncos, why did they have to have such a great start to the year and get so many in the frame for origin selection?! [eusa_doh I really thought this year we'd have a team virtually untouched by origin selection, bar a couple of obvious choices.

I can't think of a worse halves combination

Kind of an expected team due to our players out through injury and origin. Glad to see Parker back though, well at least being named to play.

The halves ... Well I just hope Perry surprises us all and has a decent (at least) game. [icon_pray.

Our team will definately lark spark with Stagg and Perry (I will never bag Staggy as he gives his all for us week after week) but if you ignore those 2 spots we are still going to have a classy forward pack and a pretty good bench. We will win this with our defence though. A couple of things from a punting perspective:

1) You will be hoping you get #9 for the Broncos in your doubles
2) What points will the TAB offer for unders/overs in this game? Usually you can bet on total points scored being about over or under 42.5 - could be a record low this week! Take the unders whatever it is I reckon

^ Perry and Thaiday wasn't all that flash either, lol.

Ehh not a good halves combo but i hope they make me be wrong. Im guessing Stagg will probs be shifted into 2nd row a bit into the game and that guy will come on off the bench for 5/8 maybe. (I cant remember his name)

Forward pack is still quite strong, so hopefully the forwards can get a nice roll on and allow the halves more time, cause there sure going to need it!!

It's hardly the worst halves combo of all time. What about that time we had Carlaw at 5/8th and some other crappy player at halfback? (At least I think we did)
