Broncos v Raiders - Spoilers

[eusa_clap.gi [eusa_clap.gi [eusa_clap.gi Well done boys. 5 wins in a row to finish the regular season is pretty admirable after how we were going before that.

Yeah we weren't at our best tonight but some mistakes at the end gave the defence some practice for the finals and I thought the defence was pretty good at the end. Better to get a mistake-riddled game out of the way tonight and put our best efforts in for the finals. Tonight's game was always going to be harder to get up for than one with more to play for so I don't mind a less than perfect game at this time. We got the 2 points, we move on to next week and hopefully fire up big time when it really counts.

Folau is missing out there at the moment.

It's only his second game back from his first major injury.

Stay patient.

add to that the fact that he is trying to get used to a new position on the other side of the field to he has played his entire career

I'd be more patient if we were paying him a lot less money.

folau was good in defence tonight . My only problem with him tonight was when he passed the all to winterstien instead of having a crack himself

I thought our defence tonight was pretty good. We had some pretty stupid missed tackles, but overall, we were good.

Our attack tonight wasn't as good as our past couple of games but it was still very satisfying to see our enthusiasm and how we all backed each other up tonight.

I reckon we can beat the Titties. :D

The Refs explained time and time again to Locky why they were letting Campo lie on the player and it was because it was a surrender tackle and this gives the defender time to dominate before rising. Unfortunately that is how the rule is and the refs got it right, however IMHO there needs to be some sort of time frame of dominance not as is now an indefinate period of time.

On the game itself, I really think we disregard the game as our simple aim tonight was to exorcise the demons of the 56 to nil thrashing and we did that. The 2009 season starts next week !!!

Good to see Wallace have his best game for a long time, my MOTM by a mile. Also love the way Sims is playing at the moment and his work in the first 30 was outstanding, along with Nick Kenny.

Not much else to report, bring on the finals !!!!!

Surrender, Dominate whatever if the refs says move you have to at least look like you are getting of the player not spooning them

He was not saying move but, it was actually frustrating and I can see why the crowd goes off as they have no idea what the ref has called ie. surrender, dominate, or normal held. The beauty of sports ears at the ground but icon_thumbs_u

To be honest I only really noticed it when Campese was doing it, guess I hate the douche [icon_razz1

Garbage, it didn't matter what kind of tackle it was Campese was laying all over the play the ball. The Radiers play the balls were a mile faster than the Broncos ones. Campese is the most over-rated footballer on the planet.

And he's a bigger douche off the field [icon_thumbs_do

BTW, I got a bit sad when they showed footages of Karmichael's career with the Broncos after the game. He was so young when he started!

I really wanted to PDF that moment when he was doing a lap with the boys tonight.

Actually it does matter what kind of tackle it was. That's what surrender and dominant calls are for.

So every tackle Campese made the Broncos just surrended??? Hell NO he was laying all over every signle type of tackel imagineable.

The ones that weren't surrenders or dominant were the ones they WERE penalised for Beads. We do have a habit of surrendering lots in tackles.

In that case the amount of surrender tackles was a disgrace, what were the players thinking? Coaches should have told them they were killing any chance of building momentum.
