cant wait for this game. already got my tix on the 50, hopefully we can dominate their forwards early and leave Anasta and pearce to kick them out of danger.

I don't see why we can't win this match.

I think it will definitely be a close game, but the Broncos seem to be getting better and better each week.

I just have a really bad feeling about this game for some strange reason. Don't know if it's nerves or something but I just have a bad feeling. Hope it's nerves!
Reminisce about Karmichael breaking Anasta's jaw. That should make you feel a bit better.

We just have to come up with more unpredictable plays in attack so we can confuse them in defence.

exactly .... we need a new secret play that hasn't been used so far this season.

I reckon the kick over the top for a flying Kemp is a winner ..... it's been used before for great results icon_thumbs_u

A few Roosters supporters I know are just as confident about this game as the Broncos supporters are. I'm finding that a little strange though, considering our side is just so much better. :D

They're just bluffing

Can't see the Roosters troubling the Broncos at the business time of the year. This is when the real Broncos stand up.
One day I can only hope the Titans have the same level of talent across the park.

You will. Hell, if injuries hadn't SMASHED your team from pillar to post, a top six finish was looking very, very likely for your mob.

On the subject at hand, all we need to do is get the basics right. A good kick-chase, continued enthusiasm in defence and cover defence, and pressure on their kickers. We've got the strike power in the outside backs to post points, but we must retain the commitment in defence that we showed against the Knights.

The big, big danger is the kicking game of Pearce and Anasta. We're not the best team in the world at defusing cross-field kicks especially, and the forwards need to concentrate on that area of the match and pressure their halves.

K is in amazing form at the back. They could bomb to him all night and not score a point, the way he is playing at the moment. Fittler is no airhead though, and he'll know this. I'm expecting a LOT of aerial raids directed at our wingers on Friday night.

Wish I could get down there and be with The Stable for this one, but a win on Friday night means we'll be back at Suncorp and then (hopefully) back down to Sydney again as the finals really heat up.

Fire up!

Shut down Pearce's kicking game takes you a loooong way to beating them. If he has constant pressure on him they rely on Braith how just kicks as high as he he can and hopes and with Hunt, Kemp and Boyd I feel quite safe in those situations. Pearce gives there kicking (which is there biggest weapon) variety and if you pressure him there last tackles will be a lot more predictable. As mick said though its about enthusiasm in defense and in kick chases those things win finals because field position can be the difference. I think we will win but we won't if the forwards don't match theres early.

any news on skd or amos being late inclusions?

Soliola can be absolute rubbish or absolute gold which scares me a bit. I have heard SKD is a big chance to play and Roberts is next to no chance. Either way as long as we play our game and aim up early dominating the field position we have the guns to beat them well.

Roosters worry me abit, their rushing defence can put our forwards off, who can sometimes struggle to gain metres at times. its almost the NSW halves all playing, aside from Lockyer who will prove, and is the difference.. Atleast Mason wont be around to run at our small guys
