+1 on Rocky's team. I agree with the points regarding the bench as well.

Reason for above team:

1. No more throwing retards like Rivett and Copley in the backline when they are clearly not up to scratch. Backline is a good, safe option with plenty of strike power.

2. 4 forwards on the bench. We're running out of players, just get Sims and McGuire back and give them a shot. We need to play this SAFE. Don't need Beale or some other nuffie on the bench, we don't need a back on the bench. There are a few players in our team that have some good utility value so if an injury occurs we'll manage.
Glenn on the wing isn't exactly safe, hes hardly a proven winger and has never looked comfortable there imo... McCullough is gone with suspected torn pectoral, you would imagine he will be out for a while so question is do we blood a rookie 9 and use him off the bench with Glenn until Wallace comes back when Hunt would go to 9... or do we use Glenn with Beale off the bench, I dont see many other options...

If we're going to use a rookie at 9 why not give Norman a go. I doubt his defence is going to be any worse than someone straight from Qld Cup with no top grade experience.

As for Glenn on the wing? Can't see the logic when he's so good at centre.

Well why not have Norman play hooker, but defend in the centres, and bring Te'o in to defend at hooker?

1.Josh Hoffman
2.Dale Copley/Gerard Beale - Either would be good. I like Copley more but the fact that Beale has been in the 17 most of the year gives him a good shot at getting it over Copley.
3.Ben Te'o - Good out wide last week. Just keep steamrollen em mate.
4.Israel Folau - Dangerous last week, quiet in second. Needs more play directed to him.
5.Jharal Yow Yeh - Did I notice him clutching at his knee lastnight? I hope hes ok.
6.Darren Lockyer
7.Ben Hunt - Don't be afraid to take control. He plays his best when Locky doesn't just take control and do everything.
8.Shane Tronc - Was great last week considering he just got here. Suited to starting.
9.Alex Glenn - Mainly for defensive reasons and provides balance in the team. Plus I don't want a debutant U20 playing 80 mins or an 18 year old who hasn't played hooker before playing for 80 mins.
10.Ashton Sims - Experience is the only reason I chose him. Hes lucky we have so many injuries TBH.
11.Mitchell Dodds - More suited to second row and starting. Tackle your ass off as always and make as many runs as possible (which isn't many still...) His D is the only thing keeping him in the team at the moment.
12.Sam Thaiday - Keep it up. Amazing form and has shown some bloody amazing footwork out wide to set up players in the last few weeks.
13.Corey Parker - Keep it up.

14.Kurt Baptise/Corey Norman - Playing off the bench will bring more balance to the team.
15.Dunamis Lui - Come on for Dodds and run riot out wide on the left. Thats where he plays in the U20s with great success and he has looked dangerous the few times he has received the ball out there so far. Deserves to start but his impact is best utilised from the bench for now.
16.Scott Anderson - Has played his best games from the bench this year.
17.David Hala - Brings impact from the bench and has been going great in Q Cup. I haven't really been too happy with Setu of late, particularly his defence so I made a last seccond change and decided to give Hala his deserving chance.

Let Glenn start at hooker, he can handle the hard defence for the first 20 odd minutes. Then Bring Baptise or Norman off the bench. I'm not sure who I would rather. I am probably swinging towards Baptise though as he is a specialist hooker with a similar game to McCullough.

****POSSIBLE SPOILER****

Cronulla just beat the Knights 26-6.
So......
We beat Cronulla and they beat the Knights so we should flog the Knights haha :P
We will be up for a fight to not finish last (or 2nd last technically).
Knights can't score try's and we can't defend but we can attack and the nights can't defend so that's a plus I guess lol.

Hopefully we win this game.

What the **** is happening to our team, Now i here Mccolough might be out for 3months or more. I cant believe the amount of bad injuries we have got. If Mccolough is out then if we dont blood a rookie 9 then i think we could go with Norman at 7 and hunt at 9. What ya reckon.

If McCullough is out for a lengthy period of time i think it is important to blood a specialist hooker. someone to give us some depth in that position, that has some NRL experience. I think Baptise from the under 20's is the logical choice, although i'm not sure if we have any quality hookers that could play at NRL level at our feeder clubs in the QLD cup

I'm happy to have Hunt at 9 WHEN Wallace comes back.

I still reckon we should just blood a new hooker. Who we got?

Why do we need a new hooker?
