I can't think of too many players who went onto really improve after leaving the Broncos.

Stagg is the obvious choice, from handy depth player to Dally M lock of the year. The issue with Stagg was that we had more talented ball players infront of him to really benefit from his ball play skills in the backrow. It just wouldn't be good for balance.

The rest really didn't improve.

Agree with both of you.
Some players did improve naturally, like Hannant and Taylor, but due to more game time and experience.

Don't get me wrong I thought he was outstanding in 06 as well just that I don't think he had a position in our team, good player who would make a lot of other teams but just not the sort of player we needed.
