It'll be a tough game alright.

Brian Smith will have some gameplan sussed out to trouble us ... he always does.
like in 2007 [icon_lol1. or both games last year? [icon_lol1.

Actually, have we even lost to the knights since Smith took over? Am I missing something here?
Just looked at the Stats, we've won the last 5 games. So I think Brian Smith has not come up with a winning ploy against us yet at the Knights. [icon_shru

Nothing like spending a fortune on player so that we can score tries on the opposite side of the field to where he is.

Rather Folau at left centre with Michaels at wing.

If Brisbane keep with game current game plan come finals, teams wont be sure which side to mark and Lockyer/Wallace Will make them pay :)

and once we got players running down the centre, it will be very hard to make the correct choice on who to mark. Brisbane could then "score from anywhere"

I get your point.

Mine is that the current game plan needs a little more variation to focus more on Folau, and also Michaels being able to give Winterstein a bit more ball.

Not to mention Lockyer's kicking game ...

However, so far Henjak seems to have the team progressing nicely, given the obstacles a new coach has to face.

The Knights game will be most interesting to see how well the team is progressing.

yeh i do agree that izzy does need more ball, but maybe henjak is just testing/learning how winter and steve can cope while the season is still fresh.

hate to hit the end of yr and not know if they can handle it. get it out of the way now.

Given we are equal first when it comes to scoring tries I think Henjack has a plan that's working.

When will people learn how to spell the name of our coach.

Or like you with Jonsey [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1.

The 'e' is before the 's' [icon_wink

Oh, noes. I did a Failau with Henjak.

At leest I got to c Henjaaak play against the Dragoons in a Grand Finale.

hopefully the 3 boys with the flu will be alright for sat night. if not just means McGuire and Sims get abit more time and Locky and Hunt will get more ball

Who are the 3 boys you are referring to?

Newcastle halfback Jarrod Mullen has been cleared to play in Saturday night's match against Brisbane Broncos after overcoming a shoulder injury.

Mullen, who was not named by coach Brian Smith earlier this week, was cleared by Knights medical officials and is expected to replace Scott Dureau in the run-on side at Newcastle.

His inclusion sets up an intriguing clash with Broncos halfback Peter wallace, with Mullen and Wallace the leading contenders for the New South Wales halfback jersey.

Good. I'd be more worried if Mullen played 5/8th with Dereau at halfback. Not really worried about Rogers at all.

Kenny, Wallace and Thaiday if I remember correctly.

Wow they are 3 pretty key players to us [eusa_doh

They better be good to go [icon_pray.

Kenny was in isolation but Wallace and Thaiday trained.

Loved the move the Storm put on Manly last night when Inglis came in from the left and scored off a short pass from Smith/Cronk on the right.
