I don't see Setu as having a very long career unless it's as a removalist

I'm sorry, but that's a load of shit.

Every man and his dog can see that Setu has a bright future in the game.

Agree but I am happy to see Sims in the side at the moment. He has been playing very well in the lower grade so far this season and played very well against the Warriors as well. He deserves another crack at first grade, and IMO Setu needs a bit of a wake up. I haven't seen anywhere near the explosiveness that he provided at the Dragons last year.

I also really like that Sims has been bought into the starting side and not just onto the bench.

Oh yeh don't get me wrong, definitely happy Sims is in the team. I think i am one of the only people left who thinks he's a valuable asset to have!

Granted Setu was poor last week, i thought he had been one of our better players in the weeks prior, hence why i was surprised he was axed.

I'm a massive fan of Sims, but he was worse for Norths on the weekend then Setu was for the Broncos against the Chooks

He started strongly, but then he was totally out muscled by a Dolphins pack that was giving away, size, age and experience. Take out Redcliffe's Skipper Danny Burke, and the average age of the Phins pack would be about 21 with less then 100 games Q Cup experience between then.

His customary gee up and back slapping was missing, he dropped the pill a couple of times and he just looked disinterested in general.

Like I said, I'm a big fan of his, and I know he has gone well for Norths this year and I was impressed with his performance against the Warriors, but he was very poor on Sunday. Hopeful he can turn it around Friday night icon_thumbs_u

How did Wapau go on the weekend? He came off the bench for the 'Phins didn't he?

Thanks for that. I haven't looked at that thread for a while.

Good to hear Palmer played well. I'd love to see him wearing the #13 for the Broncos at some stage.

i was at the game on sun and from what i saw ashton did a good job and deserved a recall

Not sure what else Sims can do to get back in the side. He's been good in the Q Cup and also played well when he was called up.

Get a time machine (find Doc Brown), go back to September last year and tell himself to protect the ball when he hits it up late....

Sims and McGuire to dominate and hopefully keep Te'o and Setu out of the side for the rest of the year. I'm really happy with this side. I'd probably swap Winterstein for someone in the future unless he improves his defence and ability under the high ball. I know everyone will jump me for this, but I don't think he's ready for a full NRL season anyway.

I agree about Sims and McGuire - and the team's performances so far.

I like the way they are adapting to Henjak's style, and that Henjak seems to be methodically addressing issues as they arise - and I think Winterstein's improving form is an example of this. Loved the way he stood up Pearce last week. Give him more time I say. I think he's all class.

The next issue seems to be for the team to play a full 80 minutes.

Hopefully, Henjak will work on Hunt so he will continue to improve. His 3rd playmaking role can be such a plus for our attack. And Michaels might need to relax a bit.

Would like to see Hodges used more at his great wide-running game than running from dummy half.

Broncos by 13.

Welcome back Richard...
Where have you been ?

What did you think of Winterstein's game last week?

I'm working on the Flux Capacitor at the moment, I just need a bit more funding....once it's done we may as well go back to 2002 and stop the forward pass also eusa_think

I wonder who Alec would replace Winterstein with? [icon_shru Yow Yeh? WHo is going to be awesome but his defence is probably worse than that of Winterstein.
