Oh this feels good after the last month we've had. Granted it's against the Sharks (who are beyond terrible), but it's just nice to see the team working so well together.

Broncos are playing well but Cronullas defence, especially close to the line is just woeful.

Hopefully we can patch up the for/against a bit today.

Could have an injury.

After his second try when their fullback made a pissweak attempt to tackle him he seemed to stumble awkwardly on his ankle. Was still walking though. Hopefully it's just precautionary.

Fair to say he needs to improve his work rate in attack, but defensively he always seems to make solid contact with the ball carrier. It was the kind of stuff we needed early to halt the Sharks' big men.

I'm actually glad the Broncos aren't on 9.

At least we get to watch the game live.

I'm just sick of Braybrook period. He commentates as a referee more than anything else, has an obsession with Campese and I don't think he's ever said anything nice about the Broncos.

Even when he's forced to pay dues, it's always a backhanded compliment.

Thoroughly impressed in the way we haven't been too predictable with the ball. Lockyer has thrown a few dummies and gone himself...has picked up different support players, Wallace has been excelent with kicking and passing and not having to make too many tackles, Macca's late kick for Falau was great all be it a freakish bounce. Sammy T hasnt been doing everything so his lesser touches have been gold including setting up Falau.

Someone said it earlier, but the timing couldn't have been better for this game. We get a stack of players back and the Sharks manage to play them all immediately into form. Fingers crossed we can keep it up for the second half - I don't expect another 32-0, but they need a few more tries and need to keep the Sharks to 1 (max 2) tries.

Folau's first try was fantastic to see. He doesn't score many like that.

Love this Brisbane weather! Stinking hot in the first half so I go get an ice cream and powerade and when I get back to my seat it's pissing down. Then it stops. And starts again. And stops. And one more time before the restart.
