Broncos Vs Storm Trial - Team named

so goal kicking was the difference hey ;)

Yep.

Might have been a different story if Parker had played.

Anyway, it's still only a trial ..... i'm sure both coaches will walk away with a list of things to work on.

Fingers crossed we didn't suffer any injuries.

Unfortunately for Melbourne, Ryan Hoffman had to be stretched off.

I blame Wallace for the loss. >.> <.<

Hell no blame Parker, if he wasn't injured we would have won, actually after seeing Thaiday's regular ability for goalkicking on youtube his to blame! ;)

I agree, he should've kicked all 6 and set up at least another 4 tries!

Nrl.com has a story up.

Yow Yeh has picked up a shoulder injury early and didn't return. McCullough has received 9 stitches but played most of the match.

Brisbane five-eighth Corey Norman had a difficult night in the No.6 jersey, but he had few opportunities to shine as Brisbane were regularly on the back foot and playing catch-up football.

Norman added a consolation try in the 70th minute from a fumbled bomb but given the fact he played the entire game there is no doubt he will be the man trusted to wear the No.6 jersey in round one.

Prop Petero Civoniceva made a solid comeback from a torn pectoral muscle and in his first game for Brisbane since 2007 showed he'd lost none of his forward grunt.

New skipper Sam Thaiday led by example while Te'o was another standout with some punishing defence and a superb solo first half try where he beat several defenders and then reached out to score.

Brisbane simply did not have enough football or territory to make an impact as the penalty count heavily favoured Melbourne.

Good insight.

Sounds like we had a shocker but still scored 30 points. I have no doubt we will be much better come round one.

Parramatta look like they will be missing Hayne and Mannah as well, potentially big losses (although i do think Hayne is over rated, on his day he is very good)

Civoniceiva is on report for a tackle that knocked Hinchcliffe out.

Doesn't sound good.

and they said on Fox Sports news that Yow Yeh suffered a "serious shoulder injury". does not sound good at all.
