I still fail to understand why junior games aren't played on Sat or Sun mornings, but are held at the same time as NRL features... [icon_shru

Yeah, it was awesome! Just about the best atmosphere I've ever experienced at a game. I'm hoping for more of the same this time around, and hopefully a good old fashioned flogging of the Titans to go with it.

Junior games are played on Sunday mornings, they r not played on Saturdays because it clashes with private school rugby union in which every member of my son's side plays as well. It also clashes with AFL affecting the dual coders, I love Friday nite games, it leaves us free for the rest of the weekend.

Junior games are played on Sunday mornings, they r not played on Saturdays because it clashes with private school rugby union in which every member of my son's side plays as well. It also clashes with AFL affecting the dual coders, I love Friday nite games, it leaves us free for the rest of the weekend.

Both I and my son have a platinum Broncos season membership, for which I paid a fair amount of $$$.
I'd like to be able to take advantage of it by actually going to the games.
How many people do you think are not taking club memberships due to the clashes with their sons games?

The Vikings competition on the Gold Coast doesn't have games on either weekend day morning, besides I don't give a rats arse about other codes, and actually would prefer weekend mornings for my son's footy games, leaving Friday nights for other enjoyment.

If the choice for one bench spot is between McGuire and Dodds, it has to be McGuire. He offers so much more.

It isn't just you, he is primarily a defender. Makes a tonne of tackles and offers little with the ball, when Parker and Thaiday are fit andd playing 80 minutes each we don't really need Dodds in the 17, would rather a ball running backrow/prop option.

We certainly don't need Dodds, Kenny and Tronc in the 17. Very similar players.

Tronc and Kenny at least offer you 8 or 10 hitups a game for a decent amount of gain, Dodds does SFA with the ball.

Once Dodds can make 80-100 metres a game then he will add true value to our team IMO. I think he needs to get an offload at the very least. Awesome in defence though. I think he is capable of 60mins of footy easy. I would have him in QLD cup play minutes to develop more.

Yep and they should tell him to hide a bit in defense and save some juice for attack so he gets himself more involved because right now he doesn't offer enough to be playing first grade.
