Hmm...to all you guys who went last night, was it just me or was it pretty quiet most of the time? It only got loud when we were pwning Titans.

agreed, I was trying to get Broncos chants going and noone would join in. Wasn't as good as last year, but still good we won.

Did you sit in the Away Bay?

I did indeed. Row 37 hehe.

Last week was our 2nd bye week. Can anyone confirm if the boys were given the week off last week?

Broncos twitter said all players had a week off.

Thats so awesome. In the past we have been flat for weeks after the guys had a week off. Now we start our run to the finals looking very sharp in defense, and then sharpness in attack should come along in the next 2-3 weeks hopefully :)

Man! I didn't realise you were there I would have totally worn my Puyol jersey so you could spot me!!!

I would have been able to tell from the glaring sexyness that a Puyol jersey brings!

I knew there would have been BHQ peeps there, I kept looking when i walked back and forth, but didn't notice anyone.

Great win last night. Defence was sublime and that's what will win us a Premiership this season.

Much of what I wanna say already has been said, but I can't go out of this thread without a mention to Hoffman and Parker. They were outstanding.

As for being at the game, it felt like a Broncos home game to be honest. Everyone erupted like a volcano when Winterstein scored his first try and for all of Parker's sideline conversions. Rocky said the other week that there is nothing more satisfying than walking away from Parramatta Stadium with a win, well the Queensland version of that is walking away from Skilled Park with a win and seeing those bogan Titans fans making all the excuses in the world. Losers.

Sounded sensational down there from where I was sitting (around half-way). I love attending Broncos games away from home, Got the same buzz at AAMI Park earlier in the year. Jesus the walk from the ground to the transport hub hasn't gotten any better. Dead set took 30 mins to get there and then another 20 mins waiting to get out of the car park at Mudgeeraba. It's a prick of a place to get to.

On the game itself, it was our best defensive effort since shutting the Dogs out all those years ago. 24-0 I think it was. That defence wins you premierships. But can we do it at the business end of the year?

The Rogers sin-bin while technically correct was a bit harsh. Good to hear Cartwright acknowledge that they should have been well in front though when it took place. Same can't be said for the moronic Titans supporters.

I liked Wallace's game last night. He had much more energy than previous weeks and his generak kicking was good. Not to mention he consistently led our kick-chases. Given we were often flat footed going forward I thought he had a good night.

Broncoasses never fail to piss me off. We were all over you in that game but you come out smelling like roses thanks to the ref.
Can't wait to kick your pompous asses in the finals.

After going home and watching the replay I can see why Titans fans should be upset with the sin binning it was a bad call BUT they should be more upset with their sides inept attack they should have put us to the sword last night but for some great defense and poor attack.

WHy don't you become a Titans fan aswell as a Knights and Storm fan FFS.

lol at jimbo. You'll have to wait a while son, the titties wont even be in the semis this year at the rate they are freefalling!

Row 38 here.

How could event staff not realise that trying to funnel thousands of people firstly through tiny doors at the stadium then fenced off walkways to the train station not result in massive delays? Robina isn't designed for 25K+ people at the same time. Feel sorry for the people who got stuck in the lift though.

Defense was impressive, really impressive.

Hunt is coming into his own at 9, having a halfbacks brain in that position does the team wonders.

The Rogers sin bin was technically correct but it was a bad call, Yow Yeh wasn't going to get up anyway. It should have sufficed at a penalty imo.

Te'o probably one of the worst butchering of tries I've ever seen.

They don't want the crappy grass ruined I think. The walk from the stadium to the train station was painstakingly slow. Terrible planning.

I was sooo impressed with Wallace' defense.

Agree the defensive effort won that game last night, that and the lack of attacking options the Titans have. Bird is a lock not five eighth and Campbell needs to be moved to 6 asap for the Titans

The Hoff continues to impress at the back and the no. 1 jersey is his for as long as he wants it. Locky was superb again last night with his kicking game and steering around the park. Wallace started slow but had a great 2nd half.

In the forwards, considering we won without Sammy T, Parker was fantastic with his tackling, hitups and 100% kicking, McGuire has a splendid game leading with aggression and putting some Titans forwards off their games. Hunt gives us better service from dummy half, though Macca was not as bad as he has been.

Defence won the game, and other teams should take note the Broncos are back and hunting

Nothing will beat Chris Walker's effort back in the day.

Haha. I was in row 20 and giving it to the Titans fans sitting in the Broncos supporters section. I mean...wtf, you've got the rest of the Stadium to sit in!!!

The goal line defence was brilliant, as was th scrambling defence. Some brilliant individual displays. Wallace at last stepped up. Yay! We won. Yay!

Having said that, our line speed in defence is poor. We wait for the attack to come to us far too much. The Tits would have been much more dangerous with Campbell at 6 and Bird at lock. That would have exposed our flat defence.

And for the first 12 minutes, we played almost exclusively to Glenn's side while Folau stood watching. As well, that attack, and for a number of sections during the match, the attack was too flat and compressed. As soon as we created width and depth, we were very dangerous.

Yes - a good win. But to get to the grand final, we need to attack in defence, keep the width and stop standing so flat in attack.

Oh, and Hunt needs to play 80 mins. As soon as he came on, our whole game went up a level.

I'd rather they get to their kick 30 out from out line than 5 out.

Can only do that by not giving metres.
