Bruno steps down

Oh boy, the Wallace agenda again...

Yes, it's a bait. It was actually a pretty funny post...

Apparently he got sacked from his previous job for incompetence...

My tip is Andrew Gee will get the job.

Whats that based on?

I really hope he doesn't get it. Nothing against the bloke, but FFS surely there are better options than him.

He's been involved with the Broncos in various capacities for a numbers of years now, all front office. Done some stuff as sponsorship manager, and most recently football manager (I think).

He's quite highly regarded for his business and administrative skills, which I admit is surprising given his on field persona!

But also agree that we need someone more "qualified" IMO.

I don't know whether he has the qualifications or business acumen to be a CEO, but after his no nonsense, practical approach since he became the Football Manager, I hope Andrew will stay at the club.

As someone mentioned recently, in recent times we have been doing sound decisions in both business and sporting aspects, cutting some fat (Michaels, possibly Sims), adding value (Hannant, hopefully Inglis) and securing the most promising youngsters coming through the ranks. That makes him "Qualified" IMO.

Anyone know where Todd Greinberg came from? I'd never heard of him before he became CEO of the Bulldogs. He seems very strange to me but the word on the street is he's a great CEO.

Does a lot of Sponsorship stuff like the Avatar Jersey when we played them. Somebody out of his mould would be good. Up to date with the times ect.............

This is old news. He mentioned at the start of the year that he'd step down.

They asked him if he was going to re-sign & he said no.

He had to come out & announce he was leaving as the Broncos are listed on the stock exchange.

If that's not a green light for me to put in my resume nothing is!!

At least Bruno wouldn't be the most unattractive CEO in the club's history....

Boom haha.

Agreed about GEE. Hope he stays involved but CEO?...

No disrespect to non-suits at all but I do want a suit for the job. A suit with the times who is an original RL person... preferably a Bronco supporter... and as someone mentioned... with the times... willing to try something different such as that AVATAR marketing scheme...

This was announced last year. It was always said 2010 would be his final year in charge.

Yeah, I noticed the amount of sponsorship and fan type stuff the Bulldogs do when I went to the double header at Suncorp a few weeks back. Was certainly quite impressed with it.
