Bruno steps down

Yeah If they go down the ex Footballer path and want to keep it in the Broncos family, He would be a big hope. Geno was the man John Singleton was going to put as CEO when Singo tried to buy the Broncos a few years back

What about Brian Waldron?

Might help us in signing Inglis.

Pretty sure I heard on triple M this morning that Gee has ruled himself out of the running for CEO.

Rumour is that Bruno is going to be the next Storm CEO. Thats no joke. Now we know why we didnt get Inglis!

LOLZ! That'd be hilarious if it happened. I reckon that'd guarantee the Broncos get Craig Bellamy to replace Ivan Henjak, Wayne Bennett to take on a position as director of coaching and development, and probably have Bellamy bring Slater, Cronk and Smith with him to Brisbane.

Bellamy and Bruno get along about as well as Jarryd and Billy!

What bout Darren SMith?? I thought he was CEO of a QLD cup side not long ago.

He is still on the board at the Broncos & he said in an interview that he will be going to the meetings, when he steps down.

He also said he won't be on the panel to pick the next CEO & will take a break so the new CEO can start without pressure of him being there.

This would prevent him from being involved with any other elite level sporting club in Australia in an executive position. It would be a conflict of interest and he'd have to resign his position on the board to take up a CEO role at the Storm.

John Ribot

Back to the future...that'd be the best move for them IMO.

Hell, I'd like to see him back at the Broncos!

and I'm sure Ribot taking the Broncos CEO job would piss off Carr and the rest of the NSWRL ... added bonus there [icon_evillaugh

Broncos CEO inside running Gene Miles.

Bruno, well my mail says that News will spin off all their league interests into a sperate company and Bruno will head that entity. Wait and see though on that one.

Ribot probably would'nt want to take a paycut !!! Pretty sure he's travelling well....
