Not sure if I want to see Hayne suspended. Would rather whoever beats them in the GF gets to do it with him in the team. Don't want him believing the Eels lost only because he wasn't playing. But I definitely think he SHOULD be suspended - it was careless at best.

Question - if he does get more than 1 week, can he serve the remaining weeks by not playing the first games of the 4 Nations? (if he is selected in the squad that is).

On the Hayne matter ... I don't know... I have a feeling if it was any other player they would at least get a week. The fact that it deserved an eight point try...

Personally I don't think there was any malice in it.... however I've always held the belief IF you back yourself to pull off something like that ... and you pull it off, then good on you - you're a hero... BUT if it goes wrong (as it did for Hayne) then face the consequences.

Personally I mainly agree with the Gymp but I think under the current rules he proably shouldn't be able to play but since he is 'Hayne' - I'd be VERY suprised if he gets suspended... double standards... that is just a reflection of real life in general.

Just watched the Haynegate on the replay - defs should be out for a fortnight - and considering they rubbed Cam smith out, the judiciary, which tries to remain independent will have to rule his out or loose all credibility

Whether it was "clumsy" or "accidental" is not the point, he lead with the point of a knee into an opposing player connecting with he head - incredibly dangerous,far more dangerous then if he had lead with the foot - he could have easily pulled out of used his arms or even his torso to try and force the player out - stupid and he will pay the price

The judiciary wouldn't dare let him get away with this
