The number 14 jersey is almost a specialist position of "second hooker".
You've got 30 minutes, if that, a game to play a joint role of hooker and "impact" player.
Neither Hunt or Capewell has the speed or energy to play the 14 role as well as a Segeyaro or Peats, neither have the size of a Hilder to put a dent in tiring forwards and neither are genuine number 9s so they both struggle to shine in that role.
Before Baptiste was banished from the NRL, I thought he was creating the impact the Broncos needed from the bench (on another note, surprisingly the only player Hook has swung the axe to after those 10 horrific minutes in his last first grade game).

I've been calling for Baptiste for a while. Has he fallen off the planet??? He must be floating around in the same temporal plane as Kemp.
Hhahaha, it's a shame really. Why keep Hunt in backup hooker if we are not getting what we need out of him especially if there's someone who actually is a hooker and played for Broncos in 1st grade before. He could be better than Macca give time. Macca must be very happy Hunt is subbing for him. I think Capewell just looks completely outclassed and lost when playing first grade. I wonder how he would go given extended time in 5/8 or halfback.
