Cartwright stands down

New South Wales assistant coach John Cartwright has stood down from his Blues commitments to focus his efforts on struggling Gold Coast Titans.

Gold Coast Titans are lagging in 15th on the NRL ladder after managing just three wins from 12 matches to start the 2011 season.



The Titans' horror start to the year has surprised many given they have been finals contenders for the past two NRL seasons.
