NEWS CEO White: Seibold's a tip top coach

They already have a canned response for this one that's already been parroted. "We signed Seibold long term because we wanted the young group to feel like there will be stability going forward."

They take us for complete fools.
Well the follow up question should be 'Your answer makes it obvious that the the young group of players are the club's priority. Seeing as you feel the young group were vulnerable and needed stability was the scenario that the young group may not gel with this coach and we may have to re-think our options at the forefront of your negotiations with Anthony, and if not, why not?'

Exactly. They are taking us for a ride giving out the answers they do. They wanted the players to feel stable going forward with an unknown coach who has only been in the gig for one year but is now signed for five. Adding to this, they had to sack the current coach before his contract was up to ensure the players would feel stable going forward. None of it makes sense but maybe the shareholders and fans buy it and the club keeps making enough money.

Have you given Pies strict instructions that if the team loses on Saturday afternoon it is of paramount importance they quickly shake hands with the opposition and head straight up the tunnel.

Laughing after a game was bad enough but to see our (stand-in) co-captain and captain shed tears after a regular NRL game is so un-Bronco like. It has to be close to the most cringe-worthy act I've seen coming from a Bronco.

Our captain crying is perhaps excusable, but not in public, but Croft has played a handful of games for the club so this speaks volumes about the poor guys' mental fragility.

This clearly shows these guys are watching the media. They need to be told to get off social media and not read or watch NRL shows. Required media interviews only and dead bat any questions about the coach/coaching.
I can't imagine what would be going through their minds with all the negative coverage but it cannot be helping.

Weidler: Paul, is there a stumbling block to sacking him, the fact that you probably have to sack yourself, the chairman will have to go and the whole board will have to go cause its just been a poor decision at least from this point of view?
White (wry smile): Nuh Danny, I dont agree with that proposition.

Weidler is one of the most punchable humans in the history of mankind.

If these performance clauses are true then I can breathe much easier now.

This season is fucked though.

I'm sure Pies said at the weekend that his contract does not contain any performance based clauses.

So one of them are in for a very rude shock when the push comes to shuv.

It's been pretty incredible the number of claims made from Pies and the Board that are conflicting.

Locky saying we cant pick Dearden becuase hes inexperienced and not playing footy, the next day Niu gets picked.

Morris claiming there was claims made re a rebuild due to the squad and Pies denying that.

Now Pies saying he's not performance based but now White saying he is.

It's all just a fucking shit show. Not only is there a disconnect between Pies and his players but between Pies and the board as well.

But then he spewed his thoughts again on Big Sports Breakfast today...

His question on that segment was absolutely disgraceful and got the answer it deserved. I mean what kind of response was he expecting? It was such an unprofessionally worded question.

It just goes to show how these **** journos will go after you if you make them look a dill, not that Weilder needs much help.

Paul White was ordinary in the interview. All diatribe. Lots of "you knows" without saying anything. He is all show and no go. Weidler was rude but right to ask the question. Aren't the board CEO and coach all responsible for this mess. The answer is a resounding yes. They all need to go quickly. They won't. They will keep plugging on in arrogance and an overpaid paycheck.
