But If I chose a team according to names I'd like Albany Great Danes. Hmmm.

You guys ( count me in ) should get a group together pick names out of hats and hook up forum members with college teams. Then thats your team for the season to support. Get a good mix of good and medium teams. Then we an defend our teams with good ole fashion butch fighting :)

I'm down with this.

I have some rules though: I don't want to support a team with the same mascot as a rival team from the NRL (I could never yell "Go the Mighty Titans" ick). I also don't want to support a team that is sky blue.

Their colours do something for me. I like the wildcats too, but I will go for the Devils purely based on their colours. It's what women do.

for sure, I remember from around a few years ago and when they do the player introductions for the tv broadcast all you heard was "Willis McGahee...The U/Ed Reed..The U/Andre Johnson...The U" etc. Seriously, it seems like half the league went to that school, then you look and they pretty much are, of course, for all the superstars, there were some busts, like Philip Buchanon, who the Raiders drafted, yay.
