He's employed by Ch7 I think he has no choice in the matter. He is living off Ch 7 so he has to follow their rules.

I still think it's pretty ordinary.

I think the fact Matt Johns was punished (I am sure by his wife when it happened) and then losing his job regardless of the fact police never charged him with anything makes this different to 3 young fella's doing something similar but then basically getting away free of any real punishment. I guarantee Webcke was even more pissed off with Cullen not decently punishing them than he was at the guys for what they did. Johns lost alot out of his part in that incident, Thaiday, Hunt and Boyd lost nothing and have probably made financial gains since the incident.

Add that to the fact Webcke's main concern with Broncos incident is the timing of it. In the middle of the final series!!!

It happens every time we have a couple of losses, it's been happening from the very beginning, no surprise that it gets raised again.

We need a specialist defensive coach A.S.A.P !!!!

After watching the Storm Vs Dragons game ..... i now know how far off the pace we are in terms of our defence

Geez give them both a break.

Matty did his time --> I don't condone his actions but the way the media handled it (at the time) was absolutely disgraceful.

"With assistant coach, Allan Langer suspended after he was charged with a drink driving offence, morale at the Broncos might not be shot, but it is strained and there was a verbal blow up between two coaching staff members during the week with chief executive, Bruno Cullen telling the pair to cool off over Easter."

Sorry I have no idea how to quote stuff... Not sure if this has been posted but I thought that it was interesting.

Also add to the fact that it wasn't Webcke who couldn't stand to be around the players but 2 certain former players in particular (as well as a couple of still current ones) who cracked the sulks that he told them (and the world via his book) exactly what he thought of their behaviour.
