They probably nominated him after his effort last week when he did something for the first time this season that resembles leadership and tried to rev up the guys by getting the crowd involved. Don't worry Thaiday, the Broncos captaincy award of 2012 is in the bag!

Actually during that period there was criticism of his leadership and his own form and questions raised if Corey Parker was a better choice and even prior to the season questions were raised over his selection. His form has improved recently but as far as his captaincy goes I have really seen improvement regardless of when we were winning earlier in the season. Regardless of my criticism I still support him as captain at present and I really do hope he improves as one, cause the side really needs it.
