The Board of Brisbane Broncos Limited advise that Non-Executive director Neil Monaghan will serve as Interim CEO until a start date for new CEO Dave Donaghy can be confirmed.

“This will ensure continued strong leadership for the business during this transitional phase until Mr Donaghy’s commencement,” Chairman Karl Morris said in a statement to the Australian Stock Exchange today. “Mr Monaghan has been a Non-Executive Director of Brisbane Broncos Limited since April 2018 and is Chair of the Audit Committee. “He will be remunerated in accordance with the same terms as Mr Donaghy’s employment agreement for the period he performs the role of Interim CEO.”

it's clear that Donaghy has a bad memory and will have forgotten all of their "secrets" by August 1 ... which is why the Storm are trying to delay his start, so they no longer have to worry about him spilling them

I am getting so confused with this case.

Surely there is an NDA in place, but if there is than why have specific items in the non-compete... or if there is an NDA in place then why complain about enforcing the non-compete for those reasons.

If there is an NDA the judge can just throw the case out citing that the NDA protects their "secrets".

If there is no NDA and they have seriously let all their "secrets" be at risk in the hope of amnesia within a 6 month moratorium then their legal department sounds like it's on par with the Brisbane administration.

Following the moratorium Donaghy can just ask Nolan to go off and reverse engineer a similar platform... maybe they can call it the Strategic Talent Optimisation Recruitment Method or S.T.O.R.M for short
