David Klemmer

bloke would probably be a regular at Long Bay if not for Rugby League ... he's 100% pure thug.

Fortunately for him RL exists and he's good at it.

Anyone else think he looks like a 'roided Nadal?

Reminds me of Full Metal Jacket a bit. Or maybe some other army movie.

Wouldn't want him anywhere near my club. He's up there with Bird and Gallen now. There's so many better props out there. He's got a name now because of his aggression, not because he can play rugby league.

Add Grub Reynolds to that list, and Beau Scott with his punchable face too!

Yeah he looks about as dopey as Pvt. Lawrence.

He's the same pedigree of caravan park scum as Dugan. I don't care how good he could be or what his style of play is like. He is a ****. A pure unadulterated ****.

I fucking hate him and I hope in the next game he gets smashed so hard he pisses himself and cries for his mum.

He's a **** and a maniac, but he's exactly what that game needed. Even the unflappable Smith had the shits and was trying to belt him in tackles. Get Nappa in the side and watch that pair run at each other.

Does not matter a bit if we like him or hate him. The guy made a real impact in game 2. We simply have to match him . I think it really highlighted the fact that we need another hard hitting big bopper on the bench.

You're right on both accounts.

However that final 5 minutes was interesting. Almost as if Daley brought him on just to demoralise the Maroons and those punches off the ground were really telling of everybody involved.

If I'm Mal, I'm using that as a source of motivation.

Exactly what did Klemmer do to annoy everybody and become satan?

I just watched the footage and don't understand what he did really did wrong, I just saw a competitive young player thriving in the Origin arena giving it to his opponents. I think you guys are just frightened that the Blues have someone who is going to perform at this level and at all levels in years to come and how he isn't intimidated by anyone.

I've never seen him do anything bad on the field or heard of him doing anything terrible (bashing or punching people on the street). I personally think you blokes are just worried of him.

Yeah, it's probably mostly intimidation. It's different from soneone like Josh Reynolds where there is 0 intimidation and a lot of retardation.

I started hating Woods at Origin time too, but if he was a QLDer, he'd probably be one of my favourite players.

Next to you Bman, I'm probably the biggest Klemmer fan on here and was one of the few who was perfectly happy with his selection as a bench specialist during the 2014 Four Nations.

However, if you can't see those cheap shot punches off the ground, the way he talks to referees or some of the cheap shots then you're simply turning a blind eye to it.

Prop forwards shouldn't be saints. There needs to be a bit of aggro about them to assert themselves but I think Klemmer is in for a lesson or two before he matures into the best prop in the game.

Perfect example this weekend. Makes a big hit but still has to elbow and forearm the tackled player on the ground

He'll be found out as a liability. If he's as screwloose as it sounds, it won't take much to get him sent off.

With the antics he pulled, with his team in front, he's made out to be an enforcer. He does it when his team is behind he looks like a sore loser who should put less energy in to cheap shots and more in to playing football.

Hmm... he plays for the Dogs and NSW'kers. Care to rephrase?

I'm there with you. First caught my eye in the u/20's SOO match a few years back.

I like him.....even if he is a NSW ****. People saying he didn't do nothing much in game two need to watch the game again. Some of his hit ups were outstanding.

Big future. I'd have him in a Brisbane jersey in a heart beat.
