Depression is a silent killer because people just don't talk about it. Some people don't know their depressed, others hide it well & there's not a lot you can do for people who are depressed until they realise it & seek help.

Depression is rife in my family, and something I have a lot of respect for. I think some of the comments made on hhis forum have been insensitive to depression. It's more a case of people not knowing or understanding what a dreadful disease depression is.
