Im considering going all out and placing 10 on us for both a win and a 13+ win. Worst case its 1 less 6pack.

If this is the worst our situation as a club ever gets then we have it pretty easy I think. I find it hard to be critical of the team when 1/3 of our salary cap (and all of whom are first grade players) is sitting on the bench. I think getting within 12 of the dragons would be a terrific achievement and better than what some full-strength teams have managed so far. At full strength (even with everyone except Hodges) we could be competitive every week, unlike a lot of teams over the years who have had a bottom 4 squad from the word go. At least we know there is light on the horizon with the injured players eventually making their return later in the year, even if it's too late for a finals run.

We can still win, it's unlikely, but there's a chance. The young lads might finally step up and show us why they were picked in the first place.

on a positive note its refreshing for the bronc's to come into games with an underdog feel... in reality we still have the ability to ambush teams if they get too cocky with us.

I think theres more of a chance of us getting thrashed then Alfie going to the pub and getting smashed to try and block out the pain. :|

Well time to sober up myself i think. Seroiusly i think we can win it will be close but Broncos by 4. the boys will be feeling the hurt as much if not more than us and IMO if your a professional sports man if critisism doesnt give you drive to prove them wrong then you shouldnt be playing and i hope this is the case for the 17 playing tonight.

They may be in 16th spot with just a solitary win but they've scored just two tries less than the second-placed Dragons and made nearly twice the number of line-breaks.
