Don't know.

umm

Unless it won't be finalised until late Nov early Dec.

Copy & Paste

The competition draw is not finalised at this stage and will not be until late November early December this year.

Maybe I should read emails properly.

Jeez, why so late? It was released way earlier in previous years.
They wanna figure out the best possible way to screw the Broncos over during the rep season...

oh well , just put us down for 16 Friday night games thanks... LOL

Can we split it? Would rather avoid taking the kids to Friday night games... Give us a few Sundays.

I'd rather that as well but you know that won't happen. I'd live some Saturday night games.

Screw you too! Comparing me with the scum... :finger:

Just because I forgot a comma in there.

I actually ment the whole complaining about the NRL screwing your team thing......

Nah, a Manly thing would be bitching even when you get your own way.

Us Bronco supporters have a right to complain. We're basically a jewel in the crown for the NRL and they basically force us to bend over backwards for them constantly.

The official NRL draw is still a work in progress and will be released next weekend.

It's the first time the season has kicked off on a Thursday night, and you couldn't come up with a bigger grudge match than Bennett against the Dragons on March 1.

For the first time, the NRL draw will also feature a stand-alone weekend for representative matches.

Not sure about Thursday night games.

I actually don't mind the idea of Thursday Night Football. Particularly if it renders The Footy Show obsolete.

Also, I think a standalone ANZAC test weekend is a disastrous idea. Any time during the regular season where an International match is the showpiece of the week is a week where AFL will win.

Yet another decision made by the television networks. It's only a Thursday nighter so it doesn't clash with the cricket. Mind you I find Thursday night footy appealing too.

I don't think it's such a bad idea for next year considering Anzac Day (and therefore the two 'traditional' ANZAC day games, Roosters v Dragons and Melbourne v Warriors) fall on a Wednesday. It would be hard to play them without a week off on either side.
