He's a bit of a passenger. Great goal kicker and a very "solid" player - But offers little creativity or direction. The Warriors I think will be looking to free up some cash and look towards securing a long-term halfback option once Jones retires.

Yeh I agree, pretty useless 5/8th to be honest IMO. Great goal kicker no doubt, but with Ivan Cleary as the Warriors' coach I am sure whoever they pick as their goal kicker will develop into a 75 percent-er.

Kemp and Moon have both been kicking goals for us in the trials, reasonably well too.
Witty's an amazing goal kicker and occasionally makes brilliant individual plays, but he is WOEFULLY inconsistent, and very prone to brain explosions.
And generally just not a great 5/8th. There is no point having an ace goal kicker if you don't score any tries to convert!

hmmm yes even if it were for match payments for a year it would probebly raise Witts profile to play in a team like the storm for a year and would help him negotiate a long term contract at decent money. To be honest with the quality of their side most average players could slot in there and look pretty good.

Mind you there are teams out there that need him more then the storm... Penrith for one would have him as their 1st choice playmaker any week I recon.
