I'm still amazed how that grub Fernandes can push the linseman and not get sent off. Wolves had a player who ran at a ref looking angry and got sent off! He got hit in the chest and went down holding his face ( Neville had a real go at him on TV about his theatrics ). And to top it all off, while losing 6-0, Fernandes, their leader and Captain was asking to be substituted. Cant stand the ratfaced ****.

The other thing that has made me laugh is that Erik Ten Hag has now apparently changed his name to Erik Seven Hag 😆
 
Fernandes is an embarrassment. How does the bloke look at himself in the mirror?

Actually, he probably looks at himself for hours on end.

We got flogged by Man City earlier in the year, these types of performances were going to happen every now and then. A reality check to the players that the work isn't done and a reminder to the owners we need to recruit more.

I read the players were joking and laughing when going into the sheds at half time. It seems as though their form the past few months has gotten to the heads a bit. You aren't back to being the old Manchester United yet guys.

Very good chance Liverpool will be playing Champions League next year too. Game in hand on Spurs and a relatively easy run home with injured players returning to fitness.

What is even more scary is that Liverpool are also very likely to be back ahead of United on the table next season too. Saw this morning that the squad is still stacked with quality.

Tough day to be a United fan. Humbled.

Typical Liverpool is how. Beating the big teams has never been Liverpool's problem. Even in the years before they started to go neck and neck with City, they could beat anyone in the top 4, and lose to anyone in the bottom 4.

Interesting that both Antony and Sancho have been named on the wing with Rashford up front, Weghorst playing the #10 role and Bruno in the midfield with Casemiro
 
Not too unhappy with a draw after losing a key player and being down to 10 men for most of the game. 1 point is better than nothing.

Both sides had chances but that ball just did not want to go in the net.
 
1-0 for Man United thanks to a beauty of a goal from Rashford.

We never really had to get out of second gear for this match. Betis were playing a very up tempo game but they were playing too frantic and as the game went on they just burned out.

Now let's see who we're playing in the QF.

Yeah I was watching that game, as well. It was an insanely good goal and Ramsdale afterwards was rightfully embarrassed that it had been scored.

Even the Arsenal players on the bench had their jaws dropped.

Reminds me of Rooney’s goal against West Ham in the 13/14 season where he kicks it on the volley from just about halfway and scores.
 
The draw is done and Man United will be taking on Sevilla in the QF of the Europa League.

Repeat of the 2020 Europa League Semi Final. Very winnable IMO.

We would surely have to be the favourites to win it now that Arsenal is out. There’s still some tough teams left in the tournament, but after beating Barca we would have to be the favourites.
