Reports are United have agreed to sell Maguire to West Ham for £30 million which I believe will have add-ons added onto that.

Scott McTominay is also being chased by West Ham but they have rejected their offer and want at least £45 million.

United reportedly have 3 targets on their list for Maguire's replacement.

Todibo is a tidy player, seems the right price too.

Pavard comes with baggage. Not sure his best position and the wages are exactly what United need to avoid. Tapsoba I don't know too much about.

All three are huge upgrades on Maguire haha.

He'll go alright at West Ham.

Confidence is shot but was more than useful in a back 3 for England. I'd back Moyes to get him going again although there's no guarantee Moyes is around for much longer.

Yeah, we've had three bids rejected already, apparently. Soton have continually said they value him at 50m, but we've been making incremental increases and haven't even got close.

Going to look like full on amateur hour if Chelsea just go and sign him in one fell swoop.

No, I was talking strictly about how Newcastle can grow regardless of results thanks to their owner being a state and you tried to push it into your FFP argument which I wasn't even talking about.

Newcastle is the outlier, the only question is whether they go that route or not because they easily can, FFP will not stop them like it would with Private billionaire owners.

I like Todibo, but he's never really gone to the level he was expected to. Tapsoba is similar in he hasnt quite become as good as everyone thought he was going to be. I think tbh everyone else is playing for 2nd place. Citeh have again just made themselves better with some smart transfers.

It's strange cause Liverpool would have been odds on for a title challenge after signing Szbosolai and Alexis. The squad was in very good shape.

Bit of negligence by both the owners and those responsible for transfers. They've been very slow to react to Fabinho and Henderson leaving. Top 4 still possible but they have made it so much harder for themselves.

Despite the massive hole at CDM they've still got a huge issue at CB too that hasn't been addressed.

Not at all. Its not like i'm saying he's been poor, but you dont go to Barcelona if a lot isnt expected of you and so far being solid is as good as its got for him. If he was performing he would still be at Barca. The ability is there, but he's coasting for me. He's capable of being a lot better. He wont get away with that in the Premier league though. Tapsoba is probably the better option of the two really at this moment in time, but both would be good signings for United.
