FOOTBALL English Premier League 23/24 Discussion

And.... thats why you can't give the ball away like that when your GK is sitting so high. Awful from Dalot

Dalot at his best (see pre WC and at WC for Portugal) can be very decent. Problem is the gap between his best and worst is huge.

Rashford!

Much better second half.

That was a much better showing in the 2nd half.

Still plenty of work to do but all of them were better in half 2.

Hopefully next time Mount actually finds the goal..

That was pretty funny lol.

If this happened in a game that matters... needs to find some confidence quick

Swansea 1 Birmingham City 1

Nice start to the EFL with an away point. New ownership, Tom Brady (NFL legend) on board, safe-standing being implemented at St Andrews… this just feels odd….. looking forward to what the season brings…..c’mon you Blue boys

Pretty worried about this season. Our owners are scared to death of breaching FFP and it seems we arent getting any new players. Lopetegui constantly complaining to the press. Genuinely worried we are facing another relegation battle.

FFP is a reality check for most clubs I reckon.
I’m surprised so many clubs have survived up to now with poor profit & sustainability measures in place.
EFL television rights doubling the income for championship clubs this season so that’ll help.
Gone are the days of getting wealthy benefactors and buying your way out of trouble.
