Dunno about this one...

Not doubting his talent obviously, but id be concerned on cost, and advancing too far on a player before even deciding on a manager.

I read Newcastle want 100 for him.

No ****ing way he's worth that much and if Newcastle do ask for that, I guess that would be a positive because United won't pay that much.

Ornstein reporting £69m..

The problem we are going to have is how many CM need to be signed.

Casemiro and Ugarte will be leaving and even with them 2 this season we are short in CM. So you're looking at 3 or 4 needed really. As well as other positions like fullback and striker.

I think you do need one older/senior/experienced mid to come in, so I can see the allure of Bruno G, and maybe the club knows they won't be able to compete for Anderson or Tonali.

This next window is so important to get right... new manager included.

Yeah... that was a bad loss. Don't think they rocked up willing to take it to City at all.

Kepa on the first goal, so bad, and they end up losing 2-0 with 2 shots on target both being goals.

Hopefully it affects their form in every other competition.

Can't stand Arteta and his garbage football.

Salah off at the end of the season.
Its time.
Thanks for everything brother, absolute legend and in the top tier of legends for the club.

I've seen 2 headlines this morning about this news rocking the football world to its core. I'm not sure any of these people have watched football recently. It's definitely time and has been coming.

Legend. Icon. GOAT.

The Egyptian King.

He is loved, adored and inspired us all for the best part of a decade. He will get the farewell from Anfield that he so richly deserves.

Thank you for some of the greatest sporting memories of my life, Mo.

Reports coming out that City are expected to cop a 40-60 point deduction if they're found guilty. Decision expected to be made within the next few months.

So whether they get it this season or they wait until the summer, City will face relegation.

God I hope it happens, but I doubt they will cop that big of a hit. There is also the likelihood that City will appeal which will just delay this mess even further.

Citeh wont get a deduction that big. They have the finances and power to keep dragging it out. Plus Chelsea got charged with something like 75 offences and only got a fine and a transfer ban.

Nothing will happen to City. It's bullshit, but I think we all need to accept it.

If they do deduct them in a major way, they will take it higher and claim FFP was a restriction of trade, which is technically correct. The premier league wont be able to use the defence FFP is a necessary restriction because of all the clubs that have been able to get ahead previously before it was introduced. FFP wasnt started on a level playing field.

That's gotta go down as one of the best interim runs ever.

United confirm they aren't in for Tonali, because rather than forking out the money for an experienced midfielder that could replace Casemiro and actually improve our midfield because he's one of the best midfielders in the PL, they would rather stick with their Chelsea model and buy kids and then wonder why there's a lack of leadership and experience in the squad.

Because that's worked out so ****ing well for Chelsea.

Absolute ****ing peanuts.
