Well Dave Donaghy has read my dm, one wonders if he actually looked at it properly
I reckon we are starting to have an effect. Have you noticed that the media is really starting to hammer home the lack of consistency?
That's probably what Ikin and Donuts are doing, targeting the media rather than the NRL directly, because lets face it, the NRL is swayed by media narrative far more than anything else.
For example, NRL360 tonight had a section which was almost word for word what we have discussed here and talking about lack of consistency. Examples used? See earlier in our thread. It was mentioned on The Back Page and NRL Tonight in the last two days for example.

I cannot recall one instance of a player under scrutiny when this wasn't the conversation. It's also the conservation when any public identity gets charged with anything in the real world. Go read something on the cases of Bill Cosby, Rolf Harris or George Takei. Anyone who's been charged or not charged with anything following an allegation. For example, NRL360 tonight had a section which was almost word for word what we have discussed here and talking about lack of consistency. I realised the anti-Broncos agenda at the NRL about midway through the 2020 season. I posted several times on this forum, with a very long list of reasons why I was convinced that "operation red carpet" (the name I've given it) was underway. Operation Red Carpet (ORC) is about weakening the Queensland teams, but especially the Broncos, to smooth the way for Redcliffe's launch next year.
Rather than being exposed by the media, ORC being ably assisted by the media, which should be no surprise considering News Corp has shares in Redcliffe. Of course, the NRL's side hustle in all this is match fixing, in bed with their sponsor-buddies at online betting platforms.
Finally, people are waking up which is good to see.
Edit: No comment on moderation.

And how exactly are they achieving this "operation"? Biased refereeing? That has been happening to us since 1993. Are they forcing us to make brain dead roster decisions like letting Walsh and Walker go?
