I used to play, not at any high level or anything. But the amount of names I got called and heard thrown around would probably shock a lot of you by the sounds of it. We used to let it be water off a duck’s back. Lucky for leniu he didn’t do it in the USA, mam could have probably sued him…………oh wait.

Sports psycologically and fortitude means weathering all the barbs, even the most egrecious like someone having a joke about a recently deceased family member.

Report it, but weather it because the person saying it is a brain dead idiot who doesn't deserve to get under your skin. On the field your body needs your mind to be there and not on tilt.

I think mam should develop his shirt to mid range kicking game. A surprise chip or 2 from mam every now and then would always have defenses guessing.
 
Nobody knows if Ezra has pickled himself over the name calling or the car crash or whatever. I remember that Vegas game, Ezra was easily the worst on field prior to being called a name. He threw that loopy shit intercept pass to Manu from memory which was one of the most embarressing displays of rugby league i have seen.

My guess is that Ezra became shit when he started reading about how good he was.
 
Let’s all take a deep breath. as fans, very few if any of us will have any real insights into what goes on in players heads, how much effort they put in at training, who is a good person and who isn’t.

I fall into the trap to, but any discussion about players that we can’t directly observe during the 80 minutes of footy will almost always be pure speculation.

Even during the 80 minutes it’s deceiving because so many unseen factors go into their actions on the field too. We are left to guess and interpret.

I think we would all do better to try and focus on the actions on the field and leave the chat about off field matters to the gossip rags.
