PLAYER Ezra Mam

I just want the NRL to hurry up and give him his fine so people can shut up about it. We have some idiot defence lawyer claiming that Rehab is needed 6-12 months for any drug user. If it turned out he was addicted the glass BBQ then maybe. But if you go out in public and threw everyone who had nose beers into rehab for 12 months you'd have no tradies under 30 the next week. Even somewhere I used to work that did random drug tests would do them Wednesdays because then they wouldn't decimate their workforce.
Well Trindall and JAC should also be in rehab for 12 months as well.

Val, Munster, Cheese, Latrell and any others caught with a 'white substance' might also need 12 months rehab as well

@Jason Simmons , for clarity , was Ezra charged for drug driving as every media outlet is saying or is it more like having an accident with a .04 or less alcohol reading?
If the latter then the law is saying the drug in his system wasn't the cause of the accident?

They're better off making these "drug in system" offences a ticket worth $1500 or something. But make these fools actually pay their fines - either cash or a bit of time at His Majesty's pleasure.
Also, there are people going through for their fourth, fifth and sixth of these charges and they simply get a fine, a little bit higher each time, book it up to SPER and off they go to the next one.

Pretty horseshit idea, considering you could get done on monday or tuesday for a joint on sunday.

lol calm down nancy reagan
Just flagging the hypocrisy of reporting... where were all these people for literally any of the other numerous drug incidents over the last couple years.

Suddenly they appear when it's a bronco and start demanding that he be rubbed out of the game even though that doesn't even remotely align with all the other suspensions that have been handed out.

I mean not only that they want to rub out his salary from our cap for 12 months because its the Broncos.

On Trindall, wasn't he also unlicensed as his licence had expired. If so that would make him Unlicensed, almost 3 time the legal limit for alcohol and a positive result to an illicit substance. Tindall got a $1100 fine and 3 months suspended licence.
Ezra shouldn't get anymore time on the side line then Trindall or it would be a farce.

So ,,, zero alcohol limit too ?
Drugs in the system ? How about a test for opiods and barbituates ?
There would be a lot of people unable to get work if a test for pain killers was on the table .

Bulldog Ritchie the Bronco/Qld hater has joined the pile on as well.
Still nobody referencing Trindall or JAC to provide any balance.

There is the word irrelevant next to a picture of Ritchie in the dictionary.

CM interviewing the parents of an 11 year old that lost their life from a driver that was excessively speeding (133 in a 50), driving under the influence of drugs (cocaine, meth etc) and alcohol (3 times the limit) and mounted the curb after losing control hitting her and 6 other kids. They want Ezra to receive a 5 year ban.

Come on CM... Surely you're better than this..

The latest from Ritchie , the muck raking ****.
Doing his worst to put pressure on the NRL .
Talk about create news instead of reporting it.
How many victims of drug drivers are they going to trot out between now and when the NRL hand down their penalty.

That's a disgrace from Ritchie but not unexpected really. To seek out someone like that to create outrage and clicks when the circumstances are not even closely related is about his level.

Why hasn’t anyone followed up on the family with the injured kid?

This is exactly how this dumb **** is able to survive. Every time he blabbers, it’s absolute horse shit. The fuckhead doesn’t even think what he’s making up. Except him to bring up this topic throughout 2025 season during any context.

Random guy driving while talking through his AirPods, a cat jumped through the window & the cat’s owner was terrified that the guy driving might run over the cat. It’s that terrified pet owner fear has effected psychologically & for that Ezra should get 5 years probation the sideline as a minimum.
